Invited my sister to try this Italian restaurant which the service manager at Marco Polo restaurant ( the Italian restaurant at the Far Eastern Hotel) recommended. The business was good at a weekday lunch time, and the building itself probably was echoing whatever the sound there was, so it was pretty noisy during the whole meal. Wine and beer selections tend to be a bit boring. However, the food and the service was quite good.
The entrance and several corners of the restaurant below:
Olive oil and vinegar.
Bread was quite good.
Fried calamari.
Antipasto:
From the top:
Egg plants gratin, melon with ham, sea food salad.
Beer wasn't that good.
Potato soup with chive.
Don't really like any beverages in a can.
Forgot to ask in advance. But this beer tasted a bit more interesting than the first one.
Roasted chicken with zucchini.
Pizza diavola
My sister's ice tea.
Don't understand why one should be charged NT$30 more for tea or coffee when requested iced?
Hot coffee, so so!
Brought back some left over pizza.
Desserts were surprisingly good,
especially the mini fruit tarts and puffs.
Outdoor area's not bad if the weather allows and if there's not too much traffic.
