This is a great place to come when the weather cooperates: breezy and partially sunny. Light menu with a glass of wine or beer, you could spend a whole afternoon with friends or just bring a book and read alone.
Menu
NT$480
Includes assorted appetizers, a soup, one main course and coffee or tea.
Personally, I prefer their old menu which included also a glass of Champagne, wine or beer.
The knife is quite interesting, you have to balance it just like the way it shows in the picture.
The indoor part was actually pretty nice, too.
The bièrre blanche is always good for a warm, sunny afternoon.
The appetizers:
Smoked salmon, squid and chicken wings.
OK with the beer but the finish was a bit fishy for me.
A Chardonnay would have been better.
Corn soup was hot and creamy, very good.
(Taiwanese standard, might be too hot for foreigners.)
Main course #1:
Quesadilla with duck meat.
Beijing style duck meat, very chewy with too much sweet sauce,
Pretty weird with salsa sauce and guacamole altogether.
Main course #2:
Poached egg with spaghetti, tomato sauce.
OK but nothing special.
Mini hamburgers with avocado.
Bigger than we expected.
Quite good,
Should be better with cheese and bacon.
Want to try?
Main course #3:
Fried shrimps with rice.
Coffee and tea.
Quite good, hot or cold.
Interesting tilted shape glasses.
Happy siblings.
Wish Emma was here!

Overall, the appetizers, desserts, beverages are usually good here.
The main courses today were acceptable but really not too impressive.
The place is very pleasant, though,
suitable for spending a lazy afternoon.
*****
It's finally spring!!!
(But almost summer....., well, this is Taiwan, what do you want?)
So I went with my "Tuesday lunch" group this time.
Unfortunately, it was already too hot, nobody wanted to sit outside with me.
The very colorful entrance.
Indeed, the whole place is very colorful.
Different corners of the restaurant:
Interestingly designed bathrooms.
You could hear thunder, monkeys and waterfall while you're doing your job.
Members of our Tuesday lunch meeting.
The day's appetizers:
Fried oyster, potato salad and Tofu with Nori.
Pumpkin soup.
Corn soup.
Garden salad with smoked salmon, avocado and Nori.
Grilled beef and chicken.
Supposed to be Indonesia style, I guess. A bit too much curry, though.
Pasta with sausages.
Trapistes
This type of Belgium beer is usually pretty good, alcohol tends to be high.
(This one is 11%, almost as high as French wines.)
This one tasted good but not foamy enough.
This one was my favorite amongst the 3 we've tasted here.
Very nice aroma. Tasty as well.
Hopefully, next time I can catch a nice breezy day and sit outside!
